That Gretzky card got me thinking........I've got some stuff salted away
I went to autograph forum...a vast wasteland....
Can anyone help me estimate a value or direct me to a site / expert for:
1. Wayne Gretzky autographed Titan stick
2. Ted Lindsay's autographed stick from game where he nearly tore Toppazini's nose off...blood an all on the stick
I was at game with my Dad...took it for show-and -tell....sent home......IN DETROIT if you can believe it!!!
MUCHO THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ted's was IN the game, on Toppazini's face...many times
He surely won't forget the rightful owner.....????
I'll see if he can get a digital picture and I'll post.
Ted was an animal / gorilla / whatever. IMO he violated the very basic values of hockey in a fight...no gloves-no sticks.
He knocked Jerry down, put his skate on his neck and flailed at his face numerous times.
His nose was hanging by a thread..... 200+ stitches.
UGGGGGALLLLY!!
Got the stick that night...got autograph a few weeks later. My father had locker room access and we have all sorts of Gordie Howe stuff (no jerseys unfortunately) Sid Abel stuff, and Sawchuck gear. .....
All family treasures from the days of REAL hockey - six pack of teams
If you ever have any old Gordie Howe autographs (before he changed it to what it is now) or Terry Sawchuk singed/used items for sale let me know I'll give you what they're worth.
As for the sticks..
Lindsay: $1,500-$2,000
Gretzky: $300-$400
Is that because of the story and situation???
I'm going to Dayton tomorrow to claim my property....
I told him he was nuts to spend $275 for a custom case...guess I owe him at least that!!!
I can see why the memorabilia is so hot these days....there's usually a good story attached vs. a non-fuzzy piece of cardboard. Just kidding.........
Knuckles...I'll see if I can dig up a quote finder auto for you...
Good night's sleep for me tonight...like a kid @ Christmas.
