I won a coin from ebay (AWcoins) and the seller sent me the tracking number for the item. When I put the number in to track it at the post office webpage it tells me," Your item was accepted at 9:59 am on July 21, 2005 in FRANKLIN, NC 28734. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later." Okay I understand that part. However, if I click on the shipping status at ebay for the item it says "dropped off" and a message saying"
Current status for USPS package # 9101150134711187919960:
Your item has been dropped off at a U.S. Postal Service location.
Today is 28 Aug and still no coin. What I'd like to know is what U.S. Postal service location the item was dropped off at?????? Has anyone ever dealt with this before? Does this mean the item was dropped off at the post office in S.Carolina or the post office in my town?? I have no idea.

I'm guessing the eBay tracking is saying the same as the USPS tracking, because that's where they get it from, and it hasn't been updated yet. It likely won't be updated until it arrives at your post office for delivery.
Franklin, N.C., is a pretty out-of-the-way location, so mail is slower from there. But I'd suggest if it doesn't arrive today, contact the seller -- they're pretty helpful.
<< <i>I have dealt with that seller several times and had no problems with shipping. Their packages take about four or five business days to arrive.

There will be no further entries for a non-registered first class mail item until it is scanned at your local post office, which generally occurs when the carrier puts it in his/her bag, or the box clerk puts it in your box.

BTW, what time zone are you in? It's still July in California.
