Wanted : Topps Mets and Topps Cowboys cards

Hi Guys, I decided over the weekend to start a collection of only Topps New York Mets cards and Topps Dallas Cowboys cards that goes back to the beginning of each teams birth. I am going to go back to my roots and do these sets in raw cards rather than graded. I see a bunch of fun in putting these cards into 9 pocket sheets and binders. The Mets and Cowboys are the first sports teams that I ever liked, saw in person and followed throughout my life. I must say that since I only collect PSA graded cards, I miss the feel and smell of cards. This is a perfect way for me to enjoy that feeling again while still working on my graded adventures. I'd love to be able to buy complete team sets and then replace any of the cards that I don't like as I go. Both sets will be collected in ex-exmt for the 60s, exmt-nm for the 70s and nm-mt for the rest of the years. Nicely centered with no creases, marks, wax or gum stains will also be my goal. If I can get the cards in a bit better condition over time, I will but I don't want this project to cripple my other graded projects. If anyone has any team sets or lots that fit these guidelines, please let me know. Needless to say, any freebees would get a good home. I also have many nm-mt baseball cards from 1981-1990 in Topps, Fleer, Donruss and Score if anyone is doing a similar collection for another team. Trades are always welcome! Neil

    I have such a looseleaf of the Mets, no idea what is in it now, did it like years ago, you are welcome to it, cherry pick, whatever, nothing of great value in there I think, except maybe the team cards. Condition will vary wildly. Any interest?

    Al Luplow #188. I have 2 1967 Topps, Tommie Reynolds #487, Ed Bressoud #121, also 2 Topps 1968 Tug McGraw #236, Bud Harrelson #132 and also 2 1970 Topps #83 Donald Cardwell, #692 Duffy Dryer. These cards are EX to NM condition. I could scan you a picture.
