investinginpaper put a ton of high-grade, very expensive cards on eBay for 1-day auctions with private bidding, money orders only please. The account had only dealt in cheap modern stuff before, and the scans in the 1-day auctions were all of different quality with different backgrounds -- stolen from many sources. More red flags than you'd find in Moscow!
After numerous reports from members of this board and perhaps others, eBay killed the fake auctions and NARU'd the account. Bidders received a notice stating that eBay was investigating whether the account had been hijacked. Somebody said the seller had promoted an upcoming million-dollar sale while still selling the residue of his pack rips, so maybe the hijacking was merely a prepared alibi.
