heres one to block on ebay

I sold 1999-2005 run of silver proof sets to ''6628terry'',he paid almost immediatly with paypal, I shipped to his paypal confirmed address, now paypal says I may have been the recipient of unauthorized funds and has placed a hold of $760 plus dollars on my paypal account,I don't know how this will end ,but this would be a good one to block from your auctions, Dan

Let us know how this pans out for you and your money with Paypal. If you shipped to the confirmed address, you shouldn't be responsible for the fraud.

Get more information from Paypal on the hold, and when you can expect to have it lifted, which should be right away, again, if you shipped to the confirmed address, and your paperwork with the USPS backs that fact.

    Good luck!

If you the seller accept paypal from winning bidders? you must withdrawl ALL your money from YOUR account, BEFORE you ship the item, Ive seen this happen time and time again, Frauds are rampant like rats on the internet..... BEWARE of this scam; its an old one..image

Big D is right. If you shipped to a confirmed address ( was he verified?) and used Delivery Confirmation ( satisfies PayPal guidelines) then technically there is NO REASON for there to be a hold on YOUR money.

If he is verified they can charge this amount to his credit card and or take the funds from his checking account. If for some reason there are not enough funds in 1) His PP account, 2) Not enough in his checking acct, then 3) they need to charge this to his credit card IF you followed PP parameters. image
