NASCAR Drivers or Drama Queens?

NASCAR Drivers In Jealous Hissy-Fit

When I first heard this story, it reminded me of when the guy bandmembers in No Doubt got their noses out of joint because lead-singer Gwen Stefani was emerging as the group's star.....well, duh! What a surprise! Your glamorous lead-singer made the cover of Vogue and you can't handle it? Now that Gwen has reached superstar status, I really haven't heard much from the guys in No Doubt....has anyone else?

It's the same thing with Danica......in a sport that many people consider little more than a waste of petroleum products, these protesting drivers should be given a time-out...maybe a week without television privileges to get their priorities back in order. Ah jealousy, it seems more and more to be a guy-thing!

Not really. Well other than the fact that IRL drivers actually possess some driving skill.

NASCAR drivers not drama queens? How many times have you seen post-race fights because someone lost? How many times have you seen intentional crashing of another driving?

NASCAR drivers think their fans want to see a soap opera when they go to the races.

And these IRL drivers really need to wake up...who would even be watching or talking IRL without Danica? They need to shut their mouths and smile and enjoy the bit of spotlight that's been brought their way because of Danica.
  • Nascar drivers are the one group of people (note I didnt say "athletes") who KNOW that its the fans that pay the bills. The sponsers pay and stick with certain drivers just because of the fan appeal that the drivers have which means more buyers for thier product. Like what was said on PTI yesterday, right or wrong, without Danika, people wouldnt even be talking about the IRL this year. You shouldnt be biting the hand that feeds you.........
