Dolphins Hold Ricky Williams Press Conference

Must be a slow news week. I saw snippets of the press conference and Ricky came off to me as an immature, not-too-worldly adolescent.......so much for taking a year off in Tibet! No mention of the $8.6 million bucks he owes to the club, and just some prefunctory dancing around the gange issue.
Based on years of watching the passing sports parade, it seems to me that it's awfully tough to take a year off at the peak of one's athletic career and then come back without missing a beat. My gut feeling is that Ricky ain't gonna stand up to the pounding....he might hang on in the NFL for a season or two, but he's not going to attain the feature back status he had as a Heisman Trophy winner out of Texas.

I agree - NFL football is about the money of course, but once that's taken care of, if a player doesn't have a passion for the game, they won't last long out there.
