Cracking cards out of holders

I know there has been a topic on this before, but what is the normal way of breaking cards out of holders to send them in to other companies? I have about 4 or 5 dozen BGS graded cards that are all graded low because of surface blemishes which cannot even be seen with the naked eye, but have subgrades of 10. 10, 9.5 and a 7 on surface. Would like to see if PSA would be more lenient on these cards.

I've cracked open a number of BGS holders. I generally crack open the edges at the top of the flip (far away from the card itself). Once I chip away enough of the plastic, I wedge a sharp pocket knife in between the two slabs about a quarter of an inch into flip area. With the knife in place, a gentle twisting action along the top is generally enough to pry open the slab, at least to the point where you can simply pull out the card. The mylar sleeve protecting the card makes it easy to slip out without damaging the card itself.

For whatever reason, it is actually harder to crack open BCCG cases, but the same method works for them as well.
