Price on SF69 P Buffalo nickels dropping.

I have noticed the last few auctions closing in the high ninety dollar range. A fair drop since they were going for 110.00 - 125.00 just a couple of weeks ago.

if you cracked this coin out of its holder what would it sell for raw on ebay??

and is it possible to go out in the marketplace and buy raw superb gems by the one or two or tens or hundreds or thousands??

YOU THINK NICKELS ARE DROPPING? You outta see what SF Lincolns are dropping to. Weeks ago you had to pay $90+ for an MS69RD 2005 Lincoln in SF.....today you can get them around $30-$40. Same with the 68RD's...they were up to $30-$40....now you can get one for under $20. No one in their right mind will ever send in 66's and 67's anymore...at least in the lincoln department.

Unfortunately, I was the idiot who paid over $30 for my 2005 68RD's....and then I got back a nice pair of 69RD's in my free gradings from PCGS. I'll be lucky to unload the three 68's I currently have for 20 bucks or so a piece!

All the P mint denominations in 69 grade will soon be commodity coins barely bringing the slabbing fees. Just like modern PR69DCAM proofs.

For the P mint coins there are MS70's in all denominations except the dimes. Lincolns lead the pack with 10 so far.
