Marcus Aurelius du jour (Like I promised, LOL)

Two neat Marcus Aurelius pieces. The bronze one I cleaned myself like I'd done with the Michael IV. The cruc popped right off after soaking in olive oil and then zapping it for 2-4 minutes. I purchased the other silver piece early this year when I was going thru my gladiatorial mid-life crisis stage!!! LOL

    Cleaning the bronze one was a job, let me tell you. After my regular process I froze it and used a toothpick on the encrusted stuff. I repeated this for several times until it cleaned up.

    The devices are particularly deep (the coin is 2mm thick!). It weighs about the same as a quarter. I don't have digital scale so I have to estimate image Oh Well...
