Interesting Information

I bought a September, 1974 booklet about a player and they had some prices for cards.
I thought it was interesting:
Topps 1951 Red Backs (52) - $50.00
Topps 1964 Giant Stars (60) - $3.50
Topps 1968 (598) - $27.00
Topps Embossed 1965 (72) - $8.00
The list goes on, but there is one article that was extremely interesting:
Editor's Notes by Steve Mitchell
Mike Salter, formerly of Seattle, Washington and Beverly Hills, California and residing in Santa Monica, California has a rare Honus Wagner T206 card. This "gem" is valued at between $900 and $1,500 by most collectors.
