With the big success Topps has with Heritage and the pre-release buzz for their T3 Turkey Red set, I wonder if Topps will put together a Sport Kings set. I don't know who owns the rights to the name and design of the set, but I'd bet they could be purchased relatively cheaply. How cool would a set be with not only the big baseball superstars but also stars from other sports...Lance Armstrong, Tiger Woods, Andy Roddick, Roger Federer, Sergio Garcia, Lebron James...it wouldn't take a marketing genius to put together this checklist.

I really think this set would be a goldmine for Topps. Imagine the buyback and auto possibilities...

The design is cool and I like the set!

On a side note - there was a debate on whether golf is a sport - well the set that is referred to as "sport kings" - has golf included.

Just give them time - they'll get around to it.
