Why would anyone in their right mind

continually sell items without scans?. Whether these cards are graded or not, it seems rediculous to not put scans in one's auctions.....................It has to be costing him bids and money!!!...................all for want of a $50 scanner.

......and to further cost himself money he has semi-high ticket items end late on a friday afternoon!!!

Seller needs to go to the Ebay 101 training course for beginners.

  • Sheesh. You would think after 7 years on Ebay and almost 2500 positive feedbacks he would have gotten one by now. Those are the auctions the big money buyers with the extra bling in thier pocket drool over......

I saw that same thing this morning. A 1952 Mays with no scans? There's a potential for real bargains with this seller, I bet.

I just can't find the courage to bid on an item without a scan unless I really knew the guy.

Yes....checking his feedback, he does have a following...........and I did end up buying one of the cards he had available today. I paid less then they usually sell for $83-$95., but not a great bargain.

Anyone know what 1970 Aarons go for these days??

I agree that the seller should always a photo, but I guess he does well enough without it. Maybe he has a bulk of cards, say 10ct Hank Aaron's PSA 8's and doesn't want to bother to take a pic each time. If he uses a "stock" photo he would probably get complaints that the card isn't the same because of the cert # and the appearance of the card.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!
