Well, after many years of collecting, and months reading this board, I finally started my first vintage set-1953 Topps Baseball. I suppose I could of done something a bit easier, but I'm really drawn to the design of the set. After collecting modern stuff for so long, this is such a different experience!
Always looking for 1996 Select Certified Football.

What's your desired condition for the set? Are going looking for raw, graded or both?

Good luck, at least you don't have the '52 version of the Mantle to chase after.

And welcome to the vintage asylum! Once you enter that room, there's no turning back!
The 53T set is one my all time favorites!
Good luck on the set and please don't be shy about showing a scan or two!

Welcome to the world of vintage! It's not easy to wean one's self
from the modern stuff! At least now you won't have to chase that
monthly Beckett down and cringe at the constant minus signs.
I know - been there, done that! I still have bunches of 93 Finest
Refractors which are worth 20c on my dollar -
Never again new stuff!!!!
By the way, when is your first meeting with I-Can't-Stop-Bidding-On-53-Topps Anonymous?
