I need a better 1963-D Jefferson

for my registry set...

Anyone got a 65 or better? FS? I know it's a tough one...

That's a surprisingly tough date in higher grades. In fact, all the early 1960s Denver coins are. Total combined population of 1960-61-62-63 Ds in MS66 is just 9. Even MS65s are not exactly common, and in Full Steps they're really tough: total combined population of 1960-61-62-63 Ds in MS65FS is just 4.

Best of luck in your hunt.
    When in doubt, don't.

I am sending my 1963-D MS-64FS to Heritage this week. Should see it in auction in September.

  • I did have the pop 1-0 in MS66 - a gorgeous toner - but sold it when I broke up
my set. I still have my prior coin for that slot, but alas, it is a 64.

    Good luck in your hunt!
