    Well, he was due but Vladdy has been in a horrendous slump which makes one wonder if his back is bothering him.

    Vlad has been icing his wrist after games. He says that it is just precautionary. I've never heard of him doing it though.

    Looking back over the records for the Past decade the Angels have hd the best record versus the Yanks. Make fun of the ridiculous team name change if you want but, remember, we beat the Yanks more consistently than everyone else.image

    now 4-7 with a 6.50 ERA.

    Yes, it was ugly but all 3 games were pretty close and the Yankees had a chance until the end of the game in all of the games. Obviously pitching was the difference. Did you catch Cano's antics tonight? Besides Jeter going 4-4 and Giambi's Homer, Cano was another BRIGHT spot, In case you forgot he is the 22 year old Rookie who came up from the Yankees Farmless Farm System? He continues to amaze me.

    How sad is it that it's a rookie who amazes you, and not the team of $200 million payroll spankees? How sad it is that only Arod is performing up to his payroll?


    And does anyone else see the similarities between Tino's hot streak earlier this year and Giambi's? I am giving him another week or so before he reverts to his early-season form.

    You expect him to carry the team every single night? He did give the yankees the lead in the first inning...where was his team's support?
