I bought quite a few cards from them in the past (vintage football). They usually had very nice cards, but when I was buying from them, they did not accept paypal--and I got tired of going to the post office to buy money orders. If you don't mind buying money orders--then I would recommend them. If they now accept Paypal, I would buy from them again.
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

I just went to ebay and saw that there is an ebay id for "555" which only has 5 feedbacks. The seller I remember had a lot of feedback and I think their ebay id was "(555)", so I think I was talking about a different seller.

the 555 guy i did business with had 20k in feedback

    he is from athens alabama

his cards were at times over graded. he at least did not sell trimmed and recolored. if your buying to fill a decent raw set than he is ok. if your buying to somehow get them graded NO

    Good for you.

Agrees with everything said here.........I bought lots of raw for my 55 Bowman set which I was still pleased with although maybe 1/2 grade overstated at times.

I hated that he niether took Paypal OR personal checks. It is such a pain to wait in line at PO for money orders that I even sometimes sent cash......( God forbid).......$45 didn't turn up once to him ( lost in mail??) I had to pay twice!!!

He wasn't (isn't) the best packer either............cards sent in top-loaders and regular envelopes only.

Collector of 1976 Topps baseball for some stupid reason.
Collector of Pittsburgh Pirates cards for a slightly less stupid reason.

  • I bought some Pirate cards when I got them they weren't the ones in the scan when I called him on one in particular a 64 Maz. he did confess and sent my money back and told me to keep the card. Thaht was the last thing I bought from him.
P.S. I saw the same 64 Maz pic in another of his auctions. I guess he was just saving time.
