A (non sportscard) eBay scam

This isn't really sportscard related, but it could very well be applicable.

I bid on and won a DVD. After paying via paypal/credit card, I received (too late) a mail from eBay's VERO program (which is what I think we probably do need) advising me not to complete the transaction because of illegal copyrights and the item was removed from eBay.

Do I have any recourse at this point? I received the DVD which was not authentic...it's one of those very apparent knockoffs.

I e-mailed the seller and got no reply. Can I contact my credit card company and do a chargeback?

I had the same thing happen to me. My cost was like $2 plus shipping so I let it go. I would've had to return the merchandise (which would've cost more than what I already spent).
