I remember these cards like it was yesterday - even as a young Red Sox fan (!), I used to always choose Burger King over McDonalds just so I could get a pack of baseball cards. It didn't matter at the time that they were only Yankee cards - the fact that I got cards that looked like the regular set (but some were different) was very cool to me.

Then, after Burger King, we headed to Carvel so I could get a sundae in a baseball helmet (and collect all the teams!)...those were great days.

I too have very fond memories of that set. It's from the year I started collecting baseball cards, back when I used to store them all in a Hefty bag and dump them out when I wanted to see them. My how times have changed.

Oh yea! I forgot, I also bought 9 cello packs of 1980 Topps Burger King Phillies! These were also a neat 22 card set by Topps, with stars like Rose, Schmidt, Carlton. Can you imagine, at 50 cents per pack, I couldn't help myself!
