The show was great. It was the 2nd time I saw Springsteen in the last 2 years. The first time he was with the E-Street Band but this time it was solo/acoustic performance, set in a theatre style arrangement. He played many songs from his new album "Devils and Dust" and some old songs. Someday I want to take the kids to hear Bruce but solo is not the venue for small kids. He used the "F" word quite a bit. My children are more familair with the E-Street stuff.

There is nothing like a Springsteen concert. 2 1/2 hours of non-stop music. One really gets their money's worth. For his concert with the E-Street Band I had to pay a premium since the concert was sold out. For some reason, probably because it was acoutisc solo performance, I was able to buy the tickets at Ticketmaster but tickets were actually selling on eBay below the Ticketmaster price.

    it was solo/acoustic performance,

NICE!! I love hearing the acoustic rendistions of rock songs.

Did he use a 12 string by any chance?

    What is SD?

I am not sure about 12 strings but he played guitar, piano, keyboard and harmonica....not all at once except the guitar and harmonica. LOL

I used to play violin and a little guitar.

Looking to Trade and Buy Tony Romo GU/Autos/RCS
  • Im not really a huge Springsteen fan, but I have seen him about once a decade since I first saw him in 1975. He is always entertaining.

I recently saw the acoustic set (tickets were a gift) and I enjoyed that. He is maturing too and its nice to see him just there all by himself. I especially like when you hear the acoustic version of a song that eventually ended up as a rocking full-band song. Its neat to hear how the song sounded when he wrote it.
