<< <i>I just emailed her again nomar5378 and told her I was going to email every bidder on any item she sales and advise them of how she rips people off. Is this wrong for me to do? >>
In my opinion, it's not wrong at all. But if nomar forwards your email to ebay, I think you could possibly get suspended for harassment.
here are somethings I know for a fact w/regards to credit reports:
A Judgement will stay on your credit report forever until a satisfaction of judgement has been issued by the court.
The satisfaction of judgement is then sent to the credit reporting agencies which in turn will change the status of the outstanding judgement to "SATISFIED" however, for 7 more years and in some cases 10 years, the "satisfied" judgement will apprear on your credit report, especially a Tri-Merge mortgage credit report.
once a judgement has been paid and satisfied and the release of the judgement has been issued by the court, and the credit report has been updated, most mortgage companies will then be able to move forward with processing your loan.
However, it is not correct to assume that an outstanding judgement will not enable an individual to gain a loan for a home. Some lenders, will lend to individuals with outstanding judgements as long as the downpayment on the home is well in excess of the judgement. If you purchase a home for 200,000.00 and put down 40,000.00 then the "risk" to the lender of a 3500.00 judgement is not of concern to the lender becuse of the equity position.
It is a fact that these type of loans do have a higher interest rate, 7.5% - 8.0% (today) vs. 5.5% in a regular fixed rate 30 year loan one with decent credit would get.
It is also important to know the laws in the state for which a person is trying to get a home loan.
Hope that helps..

<<<<Interesting story. Although I question the validity of it. Isn't roastedcat the guy that attempted to scam the members of this message board with a pyramid scheme? Greenzap or something like that? >>>> Kuntryboy your right, my appoligies to you.
Hey I admit I was taken by the scam, I don't know how I fell into it, the problem with greenzap is you need to transfer them a hundred buck and that hundred bucks turns into webcash... Yeah I was duped in to that one. a trusted friend sent me a link and asked me to sign up for free, what harm can that be. I didn't give them any creditcard info or checking info. I just posted it on a few forums and the next thing I know there is a ton of (Pending) cash in your account which they make you believe that your getting. But it's not true. They made their website so real, and sent out a newsletter weekly offering $25 for your friends to sign up. People were telling me this is how paypal got started, and naturally I fell into it. Then they get you all excited when they start adding bogus funds to your account, you think your getting like a hundred bucks, but they jack it up even more and make it (Pending) cash. And if you don't go Gold, it dissapears. My appoligies to everyone I'm glad nobody went gold under me, because GZ didn't get any money from us....lol. But the funny thing is there are still a number of people taking greenzap on ebay as payment. I think they don't realize the concept of real cash and webcash yet.
<<<<<Jery, Not to be nosey, just curious what kinda feedback this thief had before your transaction. Heck i get nervous spending a couple hundred bucks on Ebay. $3500 i'd wanna have a look at the card in person first. Too bad you couldn't get the card you wanted but i'm glad your not letting up! Ben >>>>>>
Ben his feedback was something like 76 all Positives back in 1999, I was buying up every single Babe Ruth card I could get my hands on because they were so cheap! I figured since the guy had all positives, I was getting a great deal from a reputable seller. I had less than a hundred feedbacks myself. After I had I got duped, 3 negs appeared on his account before his NARU. The funny thing is guys like this has multiple accounts, they aren't worried about commiting fraud. When one account goes down, you can be sure another will pop up. I always check their feedback before deciding to do anything. Now I basically pay with a creditcard on big purchases and I'm fully covered.
<<<<<Was his Ebay ID nedsk by chance, wasn't he from PA?>>>>>>>
I can't prove that this ebay account is actually his, it might be his friends account. After my scam, a few weeks later the same exact card went on ebay by a seller named "Jakid" I asked this seller about this card at the time. And never got any response from the seller, I'm also blocked from bidding on his auctions.
Your jakid may well be connected to the other PA scamster. Contact NorthWestSportscards - nwsportscards.com on ebay, I think - for more info about the possible connection. (Actually, I suspect most of the scamsters are actually just a relative few "serial rippers" that use a number of ids. If this is true, it would be EASY for ebay to stop the problem, if they WANTED to.)
First off roastedcat, what do YOU want from this? If it were me, the original $3500, plus 6 years interest (if you could get that 10%, not a bad return on your money, you would have beat a lot of stock market investors), plus whatever costs and fees that you had to cough up to make the f-er pay. I would take that advice on notifying his wife, in a non-emotional fashion, about what has happened so far (wifey might get seriously ticked about what's causing them to not get their dream house and put the screws to hubby to pay up, or she might get straight vindictive and actually help you out ). I don't think this guy will learn his lesson by you toying with him in any respect, since it's highly evident he has a serious victim complex (he screws you, and when you try to rectify the situation, he calls you the bad guy, rinses, and repeats ). Of course, if inducing suffering is your goal (and you have every right to have that goal), by all means string this creep along like a marionette
