Is bullion BAD?
I have found them very useful for my Lincoln collections. They give me a good perspective on which coins are harder to find and grade in High Quality. Forget the registry, I just would like to know which coins demand a higher level of hunting. Because of the POP Report, you can tell by the POP count listed which coins are harder to find. An example is the 1961, 62 and 69 PROOF Lincolns. The 69's are known for chatter in the fields, thus making them very hard to find in a high grade.

<< <i>OK, now you have me curious. May I ask why you despise POP Reports and especially Bullion POP Reports?

Forgive me, I did not mean to sound sarcastic, and maybe the word despise was inappropriate. But by reading your question and the second post, I couldn't help but think that many Darksiders are not interested at all in slabs and grades, let alone pop reports. It's just the nature of the Darkside, where the quantity and the variety is so big that not many collectors get as deep into a series as knowing which years are known for chatter in the fields. Also, PCGS doesn't publish foreign pop reports, except for Canada I think. Bullion is certainly not bad. Stick around and you might get to see one of those weekend threads were we all take one side or the other on the subject and then we all make friends again. I told you, we're a strange group.

While they don't "publish" in a strict sense, the POP numbers are there if you can divine a "lookup no.".
A logical guess is they might be on the back end of the modern silver dollars, e.g., from Tony's list in the Can Registry you find the number 32494, which reveals the follwoing partial list.....
PCGS No: 32494
Date: 1989
Denom: $5
Variety: Maple Leaf/Ag
Desig: MS
66: 4
67: x
68: 1
Total: x
You'll need to subscribe to this service to get the complete results........there are your tools, Grasshopper......go to work.

<< <i>Did I say I don't? In percentage terms, I probably have more slabbed coins than anybody else here. But I still don't know the answer to the question that's been asked, postcount cheaters.
+1
Seriously, I think it's past time for PCGS to publish world coin pop reports. Like it or not, slabbing has already affected the market for some coins, and we need all the information we can get to keep up with those changes.

Good Job! It is possible those 12 don't exist, i.e., no coins have been submitted for that year/type. Essentially, every possible coin has a serial no. reserved, but I've found they don't necessarily follow logical patterns, especially when jumping from MS to PF/SP issues.
Newsy, it wouldn't be much of a problem for a good programmer to write an algorithm to display those World POPs in a full page format; none at all.....PRIORITIES! PRIORITIES!

That's the problem. I'm not a programmer.

It's just to have the information on hand so I know how hard PCGS grades particular coins. An example would be if the coin grades 17-MS65, 2-MS68, 1-MS69, then I know that when I'm looking for that particular coin that they are harder to come by and I should not waist my money on looking for a 65-66, I should keep hunting for a raw coin that would make it to the 67-69 mark.
Another example is one that has plagued me for 2 years now on my Lincolns. The 1969-S is well known for having chatter in the fields. Because of this the POP is very low in a 68-69.
The POP just helps me better understand which years have better coins in them and which do not. That is all.

I see that there is a 1999-2000 (Fireworks) and a 2003 (Summer) but no just plain old Maple Leaf/AG
Specifically on the 2003, there is a 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004 and I just posted the 2005. I wonder if no one has ever submitted a 2003?
Here is the 2000-2005 Maple Leaf/AG
2000 - #34239
2001 - #1003417
2002 - #1001750
