Baseball Strike 94? Yoohoo cards????

I was looking on ebay for some cards in order to get an idea of what to start bidding at & noticed that there were very few from 1994 listed !! I remember that there was a baseball strike one year but I do not remember when !! Is this the reason for the lack of 94 cards on the market? And there are a lot of cards from Yoohoo beverage in this bunch, many of the names I have heard thrown around here, Clemente, Sandburg and such !! Are these a collected card? There is also a Donruss 91 Cal Ripkin, but without the Jr on the face of the card. It is on the back but not the front !! Any Good????
