MY FIRST REAL SUBMISSION - STUNNING RESULTS & LIGHTNING FAST SERVICE FROM PCGS!!!

Below are the grades that I just received for my very first submission to PCGS. Out of the 4 lincolns that I hand-picked from mint sets, 3 of the 4 came back 69RD. wooooohoooooo. I am stunned! Let me also say thanks to Jaime Haletkly for providing me with the 4 wheats for my submission. Slightly dissappointed about the 55-P coming back 65RD...but I know from many members here that this is an extremely difficult coin to make in 66. Who can cry when you get back a submission like this! For the record, my submission was received on July 7th and the grades were posted on July 19th. This particular submission was 2 sets of 4 free gradings...so I think that might be why it pushed thru so fast. THAT IS 8 BUSINESS DAYS!!!!!!????? I currently have 10 more early wheats in for grading under economy...and I can only hope that it's results are HALF as good as this one!!!!

    Ellewood,
Very good. You might not have to wait long for your economy submission either. PCGS seems to have excellent turn around times right now. My Coin of the Quarter and Economy submissions were entered in their database on 29-Jun. The Coin of the Quarter results were posted 7-Jul (5 business days) and the Economy results were posted 18-Jul (about 12 business days)! I was image

P.S., edited to say the links to your images don't seem to work for me.

Great to hear CoolKarma! It would be nice to get them early. The links for the 3 photos got screwed up because I switched the coins from the "Currently at PCGS" gallery to my "Wheats" gallery on my site last night...and forgot to make the change here on the post. Thanks for the heads up!

Way to go! I sent in 25 1947 Lincolns from three OBW little half rolls. Came back with three 65's, twenty-one 66's, and the home run MS 67! They helped to finance my daughter's wedding.

    Isn't this fun?
