1973 Quaker Oats WHA Hockey Cards, are they really hard to find?

I picked up 2 examples tonite, and was looking for some imput about 1973-1973 Quaker Oats WHA perforated hockey cards:

I saw PSA has graded only 2 examples (a PSA 6 and a PSA 3-4) in the series so far. I figured for 99 cents per card (as they looked like decent near mint examples from the scan) I would "pull the trigger" and ask questions later.

1. '73-'74 Quaker Oats WHA Hockey #39 Brit Shelby

2. '73-'74 Quaker Oats WHA Hockey #38 Alain Caron

If they turn out to be scarce, I'll get them graded some day!

They are not particularly hard to find, and intact panels are quite often available on eBay. By all means you didn't waste your money, but I don't think they are a "find" either.

    Rbd:

According to my oldish (1997-98) Charlton guide these were released in five card panels (10 panels in all, so 50 cards in the set). The set has a BV of $250 (Bobby Hull being the most valuable by far), with commons booking at $4.50 each. Hope this helps.
