1914 Gold Indian 2 1/2 with pictures

I picked up this gold coin when I recently bought a collection of coins. I do not collect gold coins, and am thinking of selling it. However, I would like to ask your opinion on the grade, and the value of it. I'll post some pictures below. When I brought it to my local coin club, several members thought AU-55, and several other members thought BU. What is your guess? Thanks!

The star at 9:00 looks strange. I would worry more about the authenticity of this coin than the grade. This series has been very heavily counterfeited.

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

The Stars do look a little bit odd to me to, actually I thought this before reading the last post.....

Assuming its real I'd say AU58.
