Thanks for your kind words Jim. I might have to check myself into the loony bin after spending a week with some of these kids . I've been to a few of the overnight camps (and one winter camp) but this is the first week long camp for both my son and I so we'll see how it goes.

If everybody's happy are we all about ready to do this again?
I apologize in advance for any confusion. These are hard enough to get to come off without a hitch. Instead of posting to the old thread as I obviously did, I suppose I should have done as was the case here and begin a new thread. I am certain we can sort all of this out.

You guys do what you want to do and I wish you all the luck but I recall all too well just how screwed up this swap thing was when I stepped up volunteered my time and finally got it all staightened out.
When this is all over and done with if the rest of you want me to remain as coordinator I will commence a brand new swap thread but as for now Count me out !!

Boom, I hope your dire predictions aren't true but since I wasn't around for any of the pre-Boom swaps I have no idea what went wrong with them. I have participated in 2 of the Booms swaps and it's all been good for me (I hope my swap partners have felt the same).

<< <i>GAcoinguy had a good idea. Here are the pairings. Each person shall contact their swap partner to determine wants/need/desires, if possible and also get addresses. Minimum is 50.00 but there is no maximum and will leave that up to the parties concerned: >>
Unless I am reading the thread wrong....Under the circumstances I think there should be a clear dollar value as per example
#1 give to #2 $50.00
#2 gives to #3 $200.00
#2 gets sort of burned....
In booms swaps it was an exchange and the parties had the opportunity to set a price between them, under these circumstances there is not that control.
I still feel it can work and will be fun, if there is a $50.00 min. It seems ok to have a $100.00 max ie averaging $75.00ish...

I came up with the idea for the swap, but due to travel I was going to be unable to moderate it. I, in no way, intended to replace anyone who is the official swap co-ordinator.
<< <i>I don't understand the confusion.........person #1 sends something to person #2, person #2 sends something to #3, person #3 sends something to #4....etc..........everyone is only sending to 1 person. Its just a way of swapping that doesn't require an even # of swappers.

I thought the idea was a good one. The only problem is if if #3 bugs out and doesn't hold up his end of the swap then #2 sends coins to a deadbeat and #4 gets nothing.
