PSA mislabel..

this auction is ending in less than an hour.. notice the flip says it's an autograph.. but there is no autograph on the card.. i'm pretty sure it's just the "base" card..

the pop report shows a total of 2 cards being graded, one an 8 and then this one on auction which is a 10..

I personally own the PSA 8, it IS autographed and should be shown as a 1/1 in the pop report..

(clearing my throat in my best DaBigHurt voice)...........oh stop, PSA doesnt make mistakes like that. Surely there must be an autograph there. Its just the scan's fault. If you can't see the auto, you need glasses. Dont blame the certified graders at PSA. They didnt make any mistake.

One of the reasons I will stay out of the modern market. It is very confusing. There is almost not enough room on the label for all the info that this card requires.

Out of curioisity do you hava a scan of your card? .....maybe I can learn something today......image

    sho' nuff..

it got an "8" due to a barely visible surface "indention"..

I can totally see the autograph and the word spectrum with my x-ray glasses. Henderson is/was a Dodger? That tells you how much I've kept up with baseball.

Henderson has played with 10,283 different major league teams throughout his 112 year career..

    What is your card worth?

It's interesting the card only sold for 26 bucks - but even if the guy wants to jam it at PSA, they will probably only pay what he paid for the card - not book value.

More teams if adding the minor leagues which he is currently playing in.

i dunno what mine is worth.. of course it would probably be worth more RAW than in a PSA 8 holder, but i dont plan on selling it anytime soon.. it's #'d/10 (yeah that doesnt mean crap, i think there was probably also a /25, /50, etc).. i dont care, i collect Henderson.. Beckett doesn't list a price "due to scarcity"..

the unsigned one that was auctioned on ebay probably "books" at $5 or something like that..

Maybe the guy thinks its auto'ed on the back?
Or, like I said, maybe he plans on seeing if he can get PSA to buy it back at book?

i dunno.. at least the seller didnt advertise it as an "autograph".. i think the price is probably right in line with what the non-auto'd card would go for in PSA 10.. it just irritates me because it's mislabeled.. *I* have the only signed version graded by PSA, but the pop report shows there to be mine+ this one.. image

    i emailed PSA last night..

i got a standard email back from PSA that simply said :

<< <i>If any corrections need to be made, the card would have to me mailed to us in order for the flip to be corrected.

    Thank you, >>

heh.. i would certainly appreciate it if the cert # was corrected..
