in Sports Talk
if they do, i would suggest they wake him up or better yet find a new one fast. the division is there for the orioles to win. why not make some moves????

    I have read that they indeed are looking to acquire another pitcher or two - I'd bet they stay in the thick of things until the very end...

    Making moves just for the sake of making moves doesn't make a lot of sense.

    They don't need bats, they need pitching...which every team needs, and there are few pitchers out there that are up for grabs.

    Tied for 2nd in the potent lineup for home runs
    4th in hits
    2nd in RBIs
    OPS = Respectable .822

    Not bad for a 40 year old washup. He's not the best hitter in the lineup, but he is holding his own at age 40.

    Yeah that's it...they are where they are because of a 40 year old hack, mediocre player.

    It was their pitching that carried them to the division lead in the early part of the season...not some 40 year old never was.

    Blow a gasket? No, I don't get worked up dealing with people who obviously have no concept of what makes a hall of famer. You lost all credibility in bringing up Jim Kaat (????) as worthy of being in the hall.

    You are the one with rabid-like defense of Raffy being worthy in the hall.

    Yes, a never was. As in 'never was an MVP' and 'never was the best at his position' and 'never was near the top of the league'. Is that easy enough for even you to understand?

    Hardly. I guess it just sucks being you, hmm? Sucks that you jump from current headline to headline in search of someone to root for.
