Thought I'd share a Prussian medal I picked up recently. From 1801, it commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the Kingdom. The obverse depicts the first 5 Prussian kings; by Loos, Silver, 56mm. Please don't be too critical of my photography; My lighting is still "hit or miss." The dark appearing fields are actually mirrored. - Preussen

I've only seen one of these before (in a major collection) and it wasn't as nice as this one. Thanks for sharing!

Stunning.
Like your icon, too. It's like a closeup of Spoon's old icon.

This is high praise indeed, considering the source.
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." -Luke 11:9
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might." -Deut. 6:4-5
"For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; He will save us." -Isaiah 33:22
I think, if I recall correctly, the Stuttgart Staatsgalerie's Münzkabinett had an example of this? Either way, quite an impressive acquisition!
BTW, I'm honored that Preussen uses my old icon. Quite appropriate for someone by that name, afterall, Albrecht Hohenzollern was the first duke of Prussia
(Also, I just recently found out that he was a patron of Nikolaus Copernicus!)
