Canadian 50 cent gold coins

I am fairly new to collecting Canadian coins so please allow me a dumb question.

Do we see the new 50 cent gold coins going anywhere? I notice that Canada issues quite a few commoratives each year, so is this par for the course? I have collected all issues (only 2 to date) for two reasons; 1. to have a full set, and 2. as an extension of my own love for 50 cent pieces, beit silver or gold.

Nope, these are .9999 gold coins with the face value of 50 cents.

I didn't know about these gold coins...very interesting! I like that they are .9999 fine.
