If you are on a dial-up line, Sorry for the big pictures.
Here are some new coins I purchased today. I know nothing about the dates or series, I just love eye appealing coins with a small price tag.
If anyone has any info on theses coins, I would enjoy hearing it.
Thanks for looking!

This board has truly added to my enjoyment of the hobby. (well, sometimes I think you guys are a bit crazy
The 3 pence is a sweety, but those Brit India coppers are real eye catchers. They have even more color than the photos show.
AlaBill, thanks for the compliment. My photo setup is quite simple. I think the pictures are more my camera than me. I am using a 5 megapixel Panasonic Lumix DMZ-FC20. It is not a very well known camera as far as I can tell, but it works great for this stuff and if fabulous for outdoor and sports pictures. As you can see in the picture, I use a single lamp with a 13w mini spiral bulb (one of the energy efficient kind), a small platform for the coin ( a small piece from the garage), and a piece of glass (taken from the girlfriends picture frame). I put the light up close, angle the glass, and shoot the photo as straight as possible, usually resting the edge of the lense on the glass to add some stability. The camera is set to the macro mode (the small flower symbol on this camera). The most drastic improvements to my pictures came when I set the white balance properly, used the piece of glass to deflect glare, and set the auto focus and auto meter settings correctly. For proccessing, I use Photoshop CS2 version9. I crop and resize the pictures in Photoshop and use the Auto Contrast and/or Auto Balance if it looks good, but sometimes it makes it look worse. One small trick I learned in Photoshop is that when you resize pictures, you have options for the way the program "does the math". I choose "Bicubic Sharper". It gives the picture a little more clearity without going overboard. But, at the end of the day, I think having a good camera, holding it steady, and having the settings set correctly is why they turn out okay.
Oh, that white screen is just a cut up USPS box with white paper taped to it. I don't know if it does anything or not???
Sorry for such a long winded explination. I would be glad to help if you have any other questions.
