Need info on Bats - Game Used and Auto

A few people here collect bats. Seem to remember Mike (Stone193) mentioning it once.

What are the basics in buying on Ebay and from other sources? What are the best sources?

In looking on Ebay I see many but frequently they are cracked, which I would like to avoid.

Any tips?

Also, who sells wall mounted bat racks?

    Here is an old thread around when I bought one of my first bats last year.

    If you read that section, it mentions a lot of sources and stuff. Pretty much anything with the SCD or PSA/DNA, ASI etc. COA is good.

    One thing - if you can't tell, don't trust the expression - "good" use - ask how much use - can you see a lot of scuff and ball thread marks? Otherwise, some will say "moderate use" and maybe you'll see a few scuff marks.

    You can trust JT Sports - the few bats I bought from them came with both PSA and Grey Flannel COA's.

    Also, check out these guys for displays - I put two five rack bat holders on the wall and they look great!

    Also, Kid4HOF is a good guy and collects bats - he should see this thread.
