Special PSA exhibit at The National

PSA will set up a special $8 million exhibit at The National Sports Collectors Convention, July 27 - 31, 2005 in Rosemont, Illinois. It will include THE Wagner card and items from John Branca's collection. Here's a link to the illustrated news release.

It's really a sight to see... PSA had the Wagner card on display last year also... it's incredible. They also had the finest 1957 Topps set among other things, the cards that were exposed in that 1957 set looked they were just pulled from a brand new pack of modern. It was really the first time I had ever seen cards of that calibur all in the same place, jawdropping experience.

$4M for a nickle... bordering on ridiculous. Then again, if you have $4M to drop on a coin, there's probably a lot more where that came from.
