Stunning, I actually prefer #1. I have seen enough black mirrors so the highlights make a nice change. Any news about a silver proof?

That obverse kind of reminds me of 1jester's current icon...

That's not going to make sense later is it?

The reverse is really nice though, I've always preferred the second style of pics for highly reflective coins.

Both are excellent images. But I have to buck the trend and go with No.1. When I look at a proof - gold or silver - the fields are not black. They are very shiny and reflect light, but they don't look black they look like a mirror and mirrors don't look black - they look shiny.
