Political views aside, it could not happen to a nicer guy.

<< <i>kuhlmann, yes, it sounds like a great game but I was pre-occupied with another game. LOL >>
Waiting to see if the yankees won tonight or not to see if you'd be spending the night posting inane garbage tonight or hiding under the bed?

And he's still better than any of your pathetic pitching staff...you'd wet yourself if the yankees got him in a trade.
I am not sure if I would loathe getting Pedro or Schilling more. Wait...I would rather have Pedro...he is a better pitcher and has a sense of humor. I don't want any Big Mouth W lover either.

You'd love to have either one.
They are both better than anyone you've got.
No, even if I liked Schlling I would take Johnson over Schilling. Johnson WAS a better pitcher. If he gets back to his old self watch out....

I'm a little confused here...what's this mean?

The media's been spinning that all year 'just wait till RJ gets his stuff back'
At first it was 'well he's older, and it's cold, wait till summer and he is able to fully loosen up'.
Now there's no excuse....I suspect he got his payday, and has little to no interest in dominating anymore.
I don't believe for a second. Either he is playing hurt or old age has caught up with him. When Roger Clemens came to the Yankees he didn't ptich that great either until he got into his groove. Johnson has had some great starts like the Randy Johnson he is supposed to be, but he also has had some terrible ones too.
Also look how NL pitchers have fared when they came to the American League and visa versa.

Isn't RJ on record as saying he isn't being paid to win games, he's being paid to keep them close?
Yes, he said that but I can not believe he does not want to win. The fire is still in him. The only problem is it might be in his wrong bone. Hmm....Big Unit.
