That's a 99-44/100% certainty.
So, any clues? What kind of writing is on it or the box? (looks like asian characters below the logo on the box??) Any numbers anywhere? etc...

Chinese characters seen in the center of obverse(?) is read "okayama"
On the right side, it says "symbolic tree- japanese red pine, symbolic flower-peach blossom, symbolic bird-little cuckoo" You can see the images of those on reverse.
The mark on the upper part of reverse is a symbol mark of Okayama prefecture.
Can you post a close up picture of the area in red circle?
