Which of these two Swiss 5 Francs would you rather own?

Coin A sold for $240 on eBay as an EF.

Coin B is mine and graded AU-50 by NGC. I gave $180 for it.

B was enhanced. A is better but I would rather see it in hand before comitting to a grade

Coin B is not inhanced. Those are pics of the coin that I own and are exactly how I took them off the camera. I had my lighting a lot closer then the pics of the other coin which sold on eBay for $240.image

    Either one!

(But if I gotta pick just one, it's a no-brainer.) image

From the pictures/scans coin B looks as if it were dipped, improved upon in some way and does not look original to me. I did not mean to infer that the picture was enhanced.

Coin A has a slightly different issue and I would rather see it in hand before making a judgment that could be correct and right on the money instead of being incorrect and overly critical from a photo.

    I like coin B.
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

  • Coin B will be my choice.

Coin A i'd go for. The reason is because i too think that Coin B looks a little unnatural.

That and i particularly like grey toned coins so coin A. Although Coin A concerns me a little because if you look in the tail of the 5 on the reverse does it not have a green tinge to it? Or is my imagination getting the better of me?

Unknowable without both coins actually 'in hand'.......I'd rather own the best one.image

If anything, Coin A proves some people can take horrendously awful pictures.
