1964 OPC Beatles Movie?

Has anyone heard of this set? I just bought it off a Canadian seller on eBay and I cannot find any information that this set even exists! All 55 cards are blank backed and they are the same cards as the Topps Movie set.
Any info you could give would be great. If these are in fact authentic from 1964 there are plenty of PSA 9's in the bunch.

Don't waste your time and fees listing on ebay before getting in touch me by PM or at gregmo32@aol.com !
This is what the seller said to me:
<< <i>What I know about these, is that I purchased them from a person with a connection to OPC until 1986.
I asked him for a history of them and he was quite tight lipped. So after i took them to a local printer and he examined them and told me they were not copies, you can tell by looking at them under magnification, but he could not say when they were printed. He suggested that maybe someone had access to negatives and could have printed them after the original run in the 1960's , but there was no way to tell for sure, hope this helps >>
These cards would fetch some 9's for sure, but PSA will not grade them.
This is what I sent to them:
<< <i>I have a question about some cards that I want to submit. They were sold to me as 1964 OPC Beatle’s Movie cards. I see that in your Pop report you recognize that set. My concern is that these are blank backs and the seller told me that was how the OPC version of this set was that was distributed in Canada. These cards are in awesome condition and I would like to send in the majority of the 55 cards for grading, however I want to be sure that they will not be a “Not Graded” casualty. I have had a Topps FB card blank back sent back to me as a factory mistake (or something) and I just want to be sure that if I spend the time and effort that these cards will in fact be graded. >>
An this was their response
<< <i>Thank you for contacting PSA Customer Service. Unfortunately, we cannot grade your cards as they are factory errors that we do not recognize. The correct set comes with printing on the back. Please do not hesitate to contact Customer Service via e-mail or by phone, 1-800-325-1121, should you have any further questions or concerns. >>
I thought they may grade them because the enitre set is blank backs, whereas a factory error would be a random card.
Any thoughts?

in most cases it would be an amount of cards equal to at least 1 sheet. sheets vary but the most usually is 132. they can have dbl and triple print cards too. but usually the cards on a sheet equal 132.
In cases where a set is say 66 cards. The set will be printed 2x on the sheet.
your cards if legit are cut from a blanked back sheet and it is quite possible that a set could be found like thist. Do you notice any ruff cuts? cards cut at the OPC factory are notorious for that.

...he was quite tight lipped....that is another way of saying....they fell off a truck,or they (in most case) went out the back door.
my bet is your cards are legit, only ungradeable as the set is found with backs.....i think a puzzle back if not mistaken.

No, the cards are not rough cut. They are as smooth as a baby's ***. I have a bunch of OPC baseball and the card stock and cut of these is nothiung like what I have seen with OPC's. I don't understand why PSA doesn't grade blank backs??? I know Beckett does, or at least did when I had some 79 FB's graded by them 3 or 4 years ago.
Graded or not the set still is beautiful

I agree, did you ask them if they would at least authenticate them? and maybe slab that with just the AUTH designation?
I wonder if they would do a Mantle or some other star that was found in a pack as a blank back? doubtful.
if you have your heart set on getting them slabbed try SGC or Gai perhaps. In any event I agree the set is nice with or w/o slabs.

Source of Cards ?
As noted, its only the "photo side" of the cards (meaning there was a text side) and is a "copy of the original proof layout". The ad even suggests how nice the cards would look if professionally cut.
These "posters" have been on ebay for a couple of years and there is usually one on there at all times.
At $15 a pop, it seems that this is just a nicely done reprint of the picture side of the cards, not authentic factory errors of legitimate authentic cards as was noted in the set auction.
All OPC Beatles cards I have ever seen have printing on the back.
I doubt this will be the last time I get taken!
