I wouldn't know to go look at MLB.com for something like that. Guy is making a few extra bucks, doesn't seem anything wrong with that. I don't like the thing about 2-3 weeks shipping on the item. Maybe 2-3 days after payment received is not a problem with me.
I thought the derby was a joke. How can you leave out guys like Manny, Tejada and Pujols and have Bay and Choi in there? I understand the whole international thing but I'm sure fans would much rather see guys that actually are good as opposed to guys laying a goose egg...
I went to the derby last night... I was skeptical at first of the international thing, but it wound up working out fine...
I've never seen a display of power like Abreu put on yesterday. The thought of taking over 30 swings in a row and cracking the ball as far as he was consistently is absolutely amazing. I've been to a lot of games at Comerica and I've watched batting practices nearly as often, and I've never seen anyone hit a ball as far as he did. The moon shot in the first round was incredible. And Ortiz is a monster too... and it looks like he hardly swings to get them to fly out.
On another note, they need to do something to shorten the event. Time wise, it got out of hand. The batters were taking way too many pitches. Perhaps the use of a pitching machine would be better, consistent pitches to each batter and every three pitches they take equate to an out. Just my thoughts.
As far as the gold ball...This happens all the time. Some people are just not resourceful. They were selling Cubs "believe" bracelettes in Chicago at Walgreens stores for $2.00 and you could buy them on the cubs website for out of town buyers 5 for $10. They were selling on ebay individually for $10. 3 X-mases ago the trivial pursuit 90's edition came out. I was watching a few on e-bay go for $60+ and I really wanted to get one for my sister. I was at Target the next day and bought one for $29.99.

Some people are just plain lazy, stupid or both.
