Hey, I used to be #1 on the registry with this set... and this just sort of blew me away...
This is some red carpet autograph thing that has connie in a hawks uniform???

ok... I'm told he did play his last year on the hawks... and it's featured on his buckmans disc... I had that in a psa 10, but never noticed it said hawks... instead of Lakers...

in any case, sort of strange they'd feature him in a hawks uniform rather than a suns or lakers

anything connie hawkins is desireable to me. I collect hs cards... plus, he's one of the greatest bk player of all time... I just thought it was strange to see him in a hawks uniform... I guess I should have read the last chapter of his book.

It seems to me it would be like 2005 Topps Finest putting out a reggie jackson auto picturing him in an O's uniform or Piazza in a Marlins uniform...

What's the holy grail of the Brian Winters Collection?
I suppose for my hawkins collection it would have been original wire photos of him in a Globetrotters uniform during his "Banned from the NBA days" or his 1972 Comspec. Carination milk as well.

Don't think there really is one to be honest. There is a Datsun/Lakers set from his rookie year in 1974-75 that is pretty tough to find but those were more photo size then an actual card. There was a place in Milwaukee called White Hen Pantry back in the 70's that put out a deck of playing cards with Bucks players on them around 1976. The deck fetches pretty good money when they pop up on Ebay. And then his rookie card from the 1975-76 Topps set. Only 7 showing in the pop report with one being a 9. I have a 9 that I submitted but it's in an SGC holder.

I have a Mays bat card that features him in a Mets uniform... same thing in a way.
