Did anyone else follow this auction? Would any of you know if this was a record price fro this card or any 74 card ? All I could say after I saw it end was wow...

    That's a little crazy.... I'd rather have a PSA 9 rookie and put the difference in my pocket. There are a lot of Cowboy collector's out there.

    I think it is a record but not by much.
    I think a 74 Staubach PSA 10 sold for about $1500 in the past - or maybe that was the Unitas.

    It's really not unheard of for popular QBs though. A 1976 Bradshaw went almost $2000 not long ago.
    I had pegged this card for about $1200.
