The national

Well I don't live very far from the national this year (less than an hour drive) and was wondering if it is worth the admission and time to attend. I collect a little of everything as you can see from my sig and was wondering if there are any deals to be found or if it is all a bunch of dealers fishing? I have never been to a card show of this caliber before so I have no idea what to expect. It would be nice to see all of the cards and collectors etc but I would hate to get there and see that I can't afford anything there lol. So guess what I am looking for from you guys that have been to a national is what can I expect to see?

Jeff,
I live in Florida and have also been to the last two Nationals.I would highly recommend it as well but be prepared for sticker shock if your mindset is E-Bay.There are bargains to be had but you have to do a lot of searching.I would recommend bringing a pocket sized notebook to write down dealer names and booth #'s of things that interest you.I try to walk the floor completely first, not delaying too long at any one booth and then plan my returns based on my notes. You will be in card heaven,so don't spend your money too quickly.
