OT: Prayers to the peple of the Gulf Coast

I just wanted to send out some prayers to the people of the gulf coast of Florida, Alabama and Mississippi. As you all know they were hit by
Ivan a catagory 4 hurricane last year. It appears now that Dennis, which may be a catagory 5, is about to hit at the exact same spot that Ivan hit
Through our church groups I learned that many people in this area are still waiting for assistance from the first hurricane and some still don't
have dependable roofs on their houses.

I know Jeff lives in Alabama, but usually doesn't come on here anymore, but I just wanted to say to those in its path to be safe, this is
going to be bad. They will need our help when this is over.

Thanks
Kevin

    Those are kind words Kevin
I wish everyone in the area my best. I know we have quite a few FLA people here. I remember spending some "quality" time with Virtualizard last year - here's hoping it won't be as bad this year.

    My prayers and best wishes

I second that - and I hope the reports of this prove incorrect. It is a shame that the same areas have to go through this all over again...

Whoever is in areas that might be, are being or have been hit, I wish you well too. And I think it is quite nice that joestalin, stone and ct are thinking of you. Good people here and I am sure that many more are wishing you saftey too!

A rainy windy day here in Southwest FL today.

God speed to all of those in the Upper Gulf Coast. I have seen too many disaster ravaged areas to wish the experience on even my worst enemy.

It's back to work for me.....last year, Dennis, and whatever else follows has given me enough work to last until at least 2007.

My business is disaster response and recovery - I signed on with Dept. of Homeland Security/FEMA today for a several year tour.
