Ebay pet-peeves

I'm not perfect and I've done my share of stupid things (for a complete annotated list, just ask the Wife).
However sometimes I just cringe when I see a listing like this:
"These cards list for $202.00 high in mint-type condition. " followed by list of cards in VG or less condition worth at most $10 - a fraction of the starting bid - which just happens to be the buy-it-now price.
That's the equivalent of selling a Hyundai by saying "This car would list for $250k if it were a Ferrari."
I suppose this is sucker fishing, but after reading these things over and over again you feel like taking these sellers aside and saying "Knock it off."
What are some of your Ebay pet peeves (apart from non-paying bidders or people that don't read the entire listing (guilty).

1) Forgetting to bid or set a snipe, and seeing the card you want go for 50% of what you were willing to pay.
2) A seller who uses "Check Item Description" for shipping, and the description doesn't list the shipping. Then the seller ignores e-mail inquiries until after the auction, whereupon the unfortunate winning bidder receives an invoice stating that shipping is $6.95 on that card he won for $5.50.
3) A card that you won for far less than market value is mysteriously "lost in the mail." All you can do is file a claim. Seller cheerfully refunds your money and later sells card for the price he wanted.
4) As a seller, seeing someone with feedback of zero or 1 sitting there with the high bid for days, and knowing that other potential bidders may be thinking it's a shill. Result: Your $100 card sells for $65 because Mr. Zero scared off half your bidders.
1. scams
2. key-word spamming has got to be near the top of everyone's list. although there are degrees of it, labeling "psa" in the title when the card isn't psa but another legit company isn't as bad as when it's raw or pro...
3. saying you take paypal, but no credit cards
4. anything sold by nomar (see #1)
5. i'm watching an item all week, waiting to bid at the end, and hours beforehand, the seller pulls the item. that's an intstant trip to the "avoid" list in my book.
6. this one's a minor peeve, but not getting feedback until you leave them feedback. i interpret this as if they're saying, you can't leave us a neg without getting one in return. oh yeah and nomar does this too (see #4 & #1)
seller's end:
1. "unconfirmed addresses" with paypal - pain in the butt since you either have to refund them, and wait for a new form of payment or take a chance and hope they don't screw you.
2. people trying to get you to sell to them off ebay, especially when the item already has bids. often these offers are very low...

From the sellers end also...
Stating in the auction that "YOU ACCEPT PAYPAL AND MONEY ORDERS ONLY!" then someone sends you a personal check.
If the above is not bad enough, they e-mail after 1 week and ask where their card is. Tha really chaps my A55
My Auctions
#2....time limits on when the payment must arrive ie) Payment must arrive in 5 days. ( I like to turn it around on them and tell them that they have 5 days to get the card to me or I'll leave neg feedback)
#3....scan that are to small to see, then you ask for a larger scan and they act like you are bothering them.
#4....sellers who don't take centering into consideration when grading.
#5....seller who list cards with the wrong year "1958 Mickey Mantle NRMT", pull it up and its a 1957.
#6....seller who can't put the correct auction into the correct area....finding football, basketball, hockey card in with the baseball cards.

Of course, this always seems to occur with sellers who don't accept Paypal and rarely answer emails.
A few other peeves, but most have been addressed.
<< <i>Sellers who put a bunch of useless info in the descriptions such as a biography of the player whose card it is.............Hammering Hank won the MVP in 19-- and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 19-- >>
yes, yes...that was a good one!
Sellers who don't, or won't, take the time to insert 1 SINGLE scan of the card being sold. Instead they scan a whole 9-card sheet or group of individual cards, and say "you are only bidding on the card in the title". The problem for us dial-up users is that....the card I am interested in is ALWAYS at the bottom of the scan, so I gotta wait for all the other cards to load before I see the one I want! When I sell items I ALWAYS scan each individual item being sold, unless they are being sold in a group or lot.
Really, it doesn't take that much more time to scan a 9-pocket full of cards, then crop each card and save.
