I am out of service for a while

I just switched from cable to DSL but for some reason I cannot access any of the message boards. I am using the wifes computer right now. I hope to be back soon.

    Sorry to hear it.

I pretty much stay out of service when I'm home, now, because we switched from DSL to dialup. image

I usually go online only from work.

(In case you're wondering why anyone in his right mind would switch from DSL to dialup, we had no choice. No DSL service is available where we moved, out in the country. Bummer.)

All fixed with a reboot of my machine! I'm back! BTW, I switched to DSL because cable was becoming too expensive. It was just crazy the amount of money they wanted. Why should I pay over $70 bucks a month when I can get DSL for $29.95 a month. Sure, up loading is a little slower but I get downloading just as fast as cable.

Cable is getting out of hand. We have Adelphia for the computer and T.V. and pay $110/mo. I think we are paying for all the money the Rigas' stole.

Cable is a ripoff, but it is all I have. Here in the people's republic of MN, DSL has not yet been made available in our neighborhood. image

  • For me it's either cable or dial-up, I will stick with cable, a little pricey but I would be lost with out it.......
