the SGC press release thread? I thought we all were having a nice discussion there.

    listen people. ANY thread that has to do with the competition in positive light is going to get deleted. any thread that has to do with WIWAG will be deleted. any thread that pokes fun at orlandos pearly grin or his "PSA PREZ" egofreak vanity plate is going to get deleted. the only recourse is to blindly immitate dabighurt and get PSA via the tongue in cheek route.

    its never going to change guys, fair or not.

    Thats why I posted the 2nd post on there last night about the over/under of it being pulled was 10 AM cst. I guess the over won!

    Even if an explanation were given, it would be about what everyone would expect. One of the longest "explanations" given on a 'sensitive' topic occurred recently.

    Here is the key paragraph:

    It's a chalk line that is navigated here but I think most can figure out when the line has been crossed.
    All and all, they have taken some pretty good shots over the time I have been here.

    Stone - I appreciate the thread that you posted but I cant see how the discussion we had was mean spirited or told lies about PSA. It was merely about the pluses and minuses between PSA and SGC in the eyes of the collectors. Competition is a good thing that should be espoused by all involved. It naturally makes each company strive for a higher level of customer satisfaction. I cant see how anything that was discussed could be viewed by PSA as a threat.

    I posted that just to give you a "reference point" and was not for or against their policy as such...to be frank, I don't remember the thread.

    Did it give reference to the fact that Spence had teamed up with SGC? If so, perhaps, it is a sore spot with PSA and the split wasn't as amicable as was reported?
