Good work on that one. Worries me that these same people are selling PSA graded cards. They know the game so why play tricks like this??

<< <i>ONE THING IS FOR SURE, THE CARDS WE HAVE UP RIGHT NOW ARE FAR BETTER COLLECTION PIECES-WHETHER GRADEABLE OR NOT. >>

    Pro gradeable-Yes PSA gradeable-NO!!!!!

    This guy makes me sick!

Someone should e-mail the seller with the links to these two threads about him here and only write:

    "We're watching you."

That 57 Mantle looks different in the raw pic. He must be using Photoshop to make those borders snow white. The pro holder Mantle's don't look that white.

The '57 Mantle has been totally bleached!
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

I contacted the high bidder on the Carew. Hopefully he'll retract his bid.

    Cold Busted...

The seller needs to get a job and stop trying to make chump change off unknowing buyers.

A good paying job affords many luxuries to an individual. One of those not having to push altered/trimmed/bleached/bamboozled/manufactured/shady/ungradeable/embarassing/non-ethical cards to the general public. Some of us enjoy the hobby and are NOT here to profit at the expense of others, but until then.... WE WILL B WATCHING.

My company has some openings, I will send the seller a link and hope they apply for gainful employment.

  • Good one zef - I don't know if he's altering the cards or just photoshopping the hell out of the scans, but I don't want to find out either.

Yeah I reported that a few days ago - so far ebay has done nothing. It's kinda like getting Al Capone busted on tax evasion.

    congrats on 1000 brianwintersfan image

<<< ONE THING IS FOR SURE, THE CARDS WE HAVE UP RIGHT NOW ARE FAR BETTER COLLECTION PIECES-WHETHER GRADEABLE OR NOT. TO PAY MORE FOR A WEAKER LOOKING CARD IN A PSA SLEEVE OVER A MINT RAW CARD IS IN OUR OPINION, ABSURD. BUT YOUR THE BIDDER- YOU DECIDE! >>>

Look at the spin language from this scamming piece of sh*t. Just incredible!

Nice job Brian catching this scammer. If Beavis was here, he would probably congratulate you. Then again, knowing Beavis he probably wouldn't - LOL

Beavis's scams are funny though - the best was when he tried to pass off raw sewage as oil to anderson.

Most all of this guys actions have been pulled image
  • zef204zef204 Posts: 4,742 ✭✭

Yeah but I think he pulled them. Doesn't it say that the auction # is invalid if e-bay pulls it?

  • Yeah I guess so, at least he ate his listing fees...

I guess screen shots of the pro auctions won are in order the next time these surface - as they'll be out of ebays system soon.
