I don't know if the rest of you have been deluged today but I've been getting phishing emails for eBay and PayPal all day today - Lots of them!
Someone must have some payments due and they are trying to make a quick buck.
For those who think they are actually being targeted to receive these mails a bit of info about what I get:
I have about a dozen different email addresses (many forward into others). Only 2 of these addresses have ever been associated with eBay or PayPal yet I get phishing emails for them about at the same rates as the other addresses. The email are random just hoping they hit a sucker with one of them.
I've forwarded every one I got today to spoof@Paypal.com or to spoof@ebay.com (as appropriate). The quicker they know the quicker they can try to get the fake website shut down.
