Braves fan from way back - They have to be the story of the baseball season. With three starters out and a bunch of rookies they are still in the running for another division title. Andrew Jones has really come through recently.

Not a Braves fan per se, but I enjoy listening to Chip Carrey a lot. Had a question for Braves fans, though. What is the deal with the Braves being on TV? In the past, I could be assured that I could find them on TBS on a nightly basis, but that is no longer the case. Did they sell off many of the games to another cable network like the Cubs did?

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I'd have to say that honor goes to the Nationals although the Braves are surprising once again

they play a large number of games un turner south network which is i believe atlanta only station.

welcome dirtyspounge bob here is a nice big braves logo for you look below image
  • When Ted Turner owned them and TBS, he broadcast a lot of the games. It was cheap programming, and promoted the Braves as a national team. Now that both have been sold to AOL/TimeWarner, they have tried a lot of new shows like sex and the city on TBS to increase ratings. They do still show a lot on Turner South sports network, but I am not sure how widespread that network is.

I am a braves fan for the last 20 years, with Richmond being the home of the AAA Richmond Braves. However, now that Washington is in town, and I got season tix to the games, I am a Nats and Braves fan. Currently 1 and 2 in the toughest division in baseball, so I am loving it.
